Services Offered:
Dr. Shaikh provides both medical and minor surgical procedure services
including removal of skin cancers, cauterization of skin lesions, and biopsies.
Shaikh Medical now offers Behavioral Health Services.
Shaikh Medical Clinic is a recognized teaching facility by Wake AHEC
enabling medical students from Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro,
Campbell and Chamberlain Medical University to perform clinical rotations
on site. We also offer apprenticeships to CMA students from Miller Motte College.
Dr. Shaikh performs and offers Gastroduodenoscopy and Colonoscopy at UNC- Johnston-Clayton hospital.
Medical Services include both Wellness and Annual Physical Exams, and
various sickness services, including treatment of heart related problems
including heart failure, comprehensive management of diabetes and
respiratory illnesses.
Shaikh Medical Clinic provides services from Adolescents to Geriatrics.
Suboxone Clinic - to treat chronic opoid users to a limited number of patients.
R3M Testing - A non-invasive test to detect neuropathy, autonomic
dysfunction, insulin resistance to check for pre-diabetes and endothelial
cell dysfunction and cardiac index to detect underlying cardiovascular
dysfunction. This early detection along with blood tests for cholesterol
and sugar helps in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
ABI Testing -to detect peripheral artery disease.
Spirometry - Lung Function test to evaluate respiratory diseases
